Happy Third Birthday NAYELI AAKRITA BHARDWAJ

As I watch your favorite doll and teddy bear
Sit on your bed without a care
I am reminded of time when you were younger than 2 and here
And all rhymes for you that your Dada ( Grand mother ) & Dadi ( Grand Father ) once sung for you
Now those charming days have been
Replaced with distanced days since last 1 year and 3 months, never before seen
As we watch you grow up so speedily
We wish you a happy birthday lovingly
– Your Father Dada Dadi Tauji Tai Srijita Samit & Real family
Your Destiny will make a way for you and you will reach the Zenith of life no matter near or far. You will surley make us proud be it we are around you or not. And yes we wish you the greatest in life and pray that your destiny paves a way for you better life . Though some unscrupulous elements around you have been destructive enough to deprive you of the love , care & affection a growing infant deserves from Grand parents and it’s so clear that father’s love care and affection have lot to do with great upbringing of a child but you have been deprived of that by using false allegations  and laws against us and you have been abducted away from you family by none other than you own 498a mother to set scores and showcase her selfish and self centered personality. But definitely these all responsible for your alienation and abduction away from fathers family will pay for there Karma one day within this birth within there circles and family. I am damn sure about that if not now then in future for sure they get there share of results specially these 11 people who were responsible for I’ll deeds. Though some unscrupulous elements around you have been destructive enough to deprive you of the love , care & affection a growing infant deserves but surely they will pay for there Karma one day within this birth. Yes of coarse you have your own destiny and fate and nothing can stop you from that . Your mother though alienated you from me 1 year three months before but I will never fail to wish you a great birthday infinitely. And we all are you guiding star and a silver lining in the dark clouds. All the best and wish you a great 3rd birthday

The Origin of World Photography Day :

Now let’s go back into time and know what led to this day. World Photography Day originates from the Daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Joseph Nicèphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre. On January 9, 1839, The French Academy of Sciences announced the daguerreotype process. On August 19, 1839 , the French government announced this invention as a gift “Free to the World”.

Another great invention in the form of the Calotype was awaiting the year 1839.William Fox Talbot invented this photographic process and together, the invention of both the Daguerreotype and Calotype mark 1839 as the year that photography was invented.

Now after 170 years, we commemorate August 19th as a day which gave Humanity such a rare gift.

Founding of the World Photography Day

A passionate Australian photographer Korske Ara in 2009 launched the World Photography Day Project. On 19 August 2010, the first global online gallery of World Photography Day was hosted. The day is celebrated in order to unite global as well as local communities of the photographers.

So, on this World Photography Day don’t worry if you are a professional or an amateur, just grab a camera and go clickety click.

History

World Photography Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic processes developed by Joseph Nicèphore Nièpce and Louis Daguerre. On January 9, 1839, The French Academy of Sciences announced the daguerreotype process. A few months later, on August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention as a gift “Free to the World”.

Another photographic processes, the Calotype, was also invented in 1839 by William Fox Talbot (it was announced in 1841). Together, the invention of both the Daguerreotype and Calotype mark 1839 as the year that photography was invented.

Louis Daguerre is considered as the inventor of the first practical process of photography. He formed a partnership with Joseph Nicephore in 1829, to improve the process developed by Niepce. After several years of experimentation Daguerre developed a convenient and practical method of photography.
According to Daguerre’s process, the images will be fixed onto a sheet of silver-platted copper. The sheet will be polished and coated in iodine to convert it into a surface that will be sensitive to light. The plate will be put on to the camera and will be exposed for a few minutes. Once the image is captured, the plate will be washed with silver chloride. This will make the image not changeable by exposing to light. This technology was called ‘daguerreotype’ , named after the inventor.
Louis Daguerre presented the process before public on August 19, 1839 at a meeting of the French Academy of Science in Paris. The process was widely accepted and it gained popularity quickly. By 1850, within 11 years there where over seventy daguerreotype studios in the City of Newyork itself. This marked the beginning of modern era of photography. August 19, The day the daguerreotype went public is considered as the World Photography Day.

A World Photography Day – 19 August

“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”- Marc Riboud

What makes a photograph so special? Well, the answer might be pretty simple , but a person addicted to photography can spend his/her whole lifetime answering it! A photo is something which has the ability to extract and bring out myriad emotions hidden beneath you. How lovely it is to capture life’s fleeting moments and share them with others and re-live that moment again and again!

Why we love photography so much?

Photography gives us a different perspective of the world. We start to observe how much beauty is all around us. Once we start noticing intricate details and the common everyday things, we tend to derive happiness from it. Even a bland and common sight transforms into something magical when captured with the right emotion.

Once you are behind the lens, the image captured becomes more than just a mere sight. It takes on different dimensions and transforms into something unique. Each picture tells a story and all stories are beautiful. It lets us explore various aesthetic possibilities offered by colour, light, form and shape.

Photography lets you express yourself-your opinions, interests and beliefs. How you express yourself is by choosing what you wish to capture and how you interpret it. Every person should have some creative outlet and no other art can be as fun and fulfilling as Photography. So, next time anyone questions you about your creative skills, just pick up your camera and let your senses take over. Yes, creativity can be that simple!

And now with a plethora of options and various technological advancements, you can explore a multitude of ways to capture and represent reality or rather bend it too.

CONFLUENCE OF INDUS 3 km southeast of Nimmu at Ladakh in Jammu & Kashmir Himachal Border India SunDeepKulluDOTcom 111 WOW

“Confluence” Coordinates: 33°46’19?N 76°50’43?E

This is my faourite shot of the Confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers is 3km southeast of Nimmu village at Ladakh, India. The Indus runs through entire Ladakh all along by your side serving as a constant companion and you feel a sense of respect for this stream of water that is the lifeline of the people of Ladakh, especially since Ladakh experiences a rainfall of only 2 to 3 inches throughout the year. A land of endless beauty in the form of dry land with monasteris dotting its landscape and lakes so pure that you can only stand agape in awe, is made more exotic by the Indus, on the banks of which one can spend endless evenings just looking into the vastness of Ladakh and reasonably concluding that it is this virgin nature of the land mostly untouched since decades that has kept the people in this gifted land insulated from the world that we claim to be modern.

Soon my first book on 111 MIRACULOUS WONDERS OF WORLD YOU MUST SEE WHEN U ALIVE will be out with "111 WOW" i Phone application by the end of this year. Updating my official website sundeepkullu.com

With Indus constantly flowing by our side, you do not realise that you had reached Nimu. It was only when the driver pointed out that the grandiosity of the sight that unfolded right before our eyes came to the fore. Right in front of us were the Indus and Zanskar Rivers getting lost into each other as if they had flown all along just for that. From this point on, beyond this Confluence of the two, the stream of water is regarded as the Indus River and the Zanskar does not exist beyond this point.

What amazes you most about this Confluence is the difference in colours of the two rivers. The Zanskar no more remains its muddy self beyond this point and loses its parent nature in the process of becoming a part of the Indus making it a sight worth jotting down in your memory book.

The Indus is bright blue, the Zanskar is muddy. The mighty river Indus originates in Tibet, enters Ladakh region of India, flows through Kashmir & enters Pakistan, where it ends it’s journey by emptying into the Arabian sea near Karachi. It has many tributeries, some of which are big rivers themselves. One of the world’s oldest civilization, the Indus Valley Civilization, grew up in its valley about 35000 years back.

The Suru and Zangskar valleys form a great trough at the foot of the northern, heavily glaciated flank of the Himalayas, while opposite rise the mountains of the Zanskar range. The Suru River forms the western and northern boundary of the Zanskar range. The Suru, after receiving the combined waters of the Dras and Shingo Rivers a short distance north of Kargil, joins the Indus at Marol in Baltistan, which is now on the Pakistan side of the Line of Control.

The Zanskar River is a north-flowing tributary of the Indus. In its upper reaches, the Zanskar has two main branches. First of these, the Doda, has its source near the Pensi-la (4,400 m) (14,450 ft) mountain-pass and flows south-eastwards along the main Zanskar valley leading towards Padum, the capital of Zanskar. The second branch is formed by two main tributaries known as Kargyag river, with its source near the Shingo La (5,091 m) (16,703 ft), and Tsarap river, with its source near the Baralacha-La. These two rivers unite below the village of Purne to form the Lungnak river (also known as the Lingti or Tsarap). The Lungnak river then flows north-westwards along a narrow gorge towards Zanskar’s central valley (known locally as gzhung khor), where it unites with the Doda river to form the main Zanskar river. This river then takes a north-eastern course through the dramatic Zanskar Gorge until it joins the Indus near Nimmu in Ladakh.
